Dr. Renee Horton is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. of Electrical Engineering with a minor in Math in 2002 and a Ph.D. in Material Science with a concentration in Physics from the University of Alabama. She currently serves as the Space Launch System (SLS) Lead Metallic/Weld Engineer in the NASA Residential Management Office at Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans.

Dr. Paul Gueye obtains his B.S. (1987) and M.S. (1989) degrees in physics and chemistry from the University Cheikh Anta Diop in Senegal and his Ph.D. in nuclear physics in 1994 from the University of Clermont-Ferrand II in France. He currently serves as the Physics Department Chair of Hampton University in Hampton, VA.

Dr. Stephen Roberson graduated from Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2000, a M.S. in Physics from 2002, and a Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from Florida A&M University. He currently works as a principal scientist contracted to work for the Army at the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD as well as an adjunct professor of physics at Morgan State University.

She has a background in Theoretical Nuclear Physics and over 20 years of experience in STEM education, research and higher ed administration. Dr. Coleman is currently the CEO of her IT and educational consulting firm Coleman Comprehensive Solutions.

Jami Valentine earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Florida A & M University, a master’s degree in physics from Brown University, and a Ph.D. from the department of Physics and Astronomy at the Johns Hopkins University. She is currently a Primary Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) examining semiconductor patent applications related to phase-change memory, nanoscale memory and spintronic memory devices.
